Power Point talks with hands on artefacts.

A fully illustrated talk showing archaeological sites and the discovery of artefacts. The talk can be geared to the direction required whether it is related to agriculture, farming, towns, villages, buildings, leisure or military. A number of archaeological finds are made available for children to handle with further finds exhibited which range from the prehistoric period to the modern times.

Mini-excavations

Occasionally small excavations can be organised to enable the children to experience real archaeology on the premises if the ground is suitable and all necessary requirements are met.

Open day show and tell stall

Very popular with children and adults alike. Children can have a find identified and dated by experts. Supported by both reference books and where possible the Internet, the children can then be shown the object in its original condition and where possible, in use.
